After 2 months of waiting for good forecast we are ready to announce Burusports freestyle Challenge 2009 competitions. It will take part on Wednesday 28.10.2009 in Riga, Annas sakses str. 19A, windsurfing club 360 territory.In case of unstable forecast organizers can transfer competitions till 27.10.2009 12:00.

Price giving will be half hour after the last heat of the day.

Event
Burusports Freestyle challenge will take place any day from 1st of September till 31st of October.Exact date will be announced in www.windsurf.lv.

Organizer
The BFC 2009 is organized by Burusports Team.Event is supported by Burusports, Cabo Cafe, w-surf club 360, Konstruktionsgruppe Bauen Latvija, Arnis Skrastiņš

Venue
The event will be based in Riga, at surf club 360 territory, Annas sakses str. 19a.
Rules
The 2009-2012 ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing- Windsurfing Competition Rules (WCR)PWA 2006 freestyle rulesThis Notice of Race (“NoR”) & the Sailing Instructions (SIs)
Divisions
BFC 2009 regatta is “open entry” event for male & female competitors.All competitors participate in one „open” fleet.
Elimination
Event will be double elimination format. Maximum of 2 series.2 competitors in each heat, only one best will get in to the next round.
Equipment
All competitors shall bring their own equipment.
Sail insignias
No less than 22cm high numbers and national letters are required on the sails
Liability
Competitors take part in all races at their own risk.The organizers, ISAF or representatives or the sponsors are not responsible, under any circumstances, for any damage, loss or injury either ashore or on the water either to persons or equipment, which may result.Participation in this event is at the sole discretion of the sailor and at his/her own risk.
Competition area
Will be marked by buoys and wil be located opposite surf club 360 area.
Weather
Event will be held at the NW-N wind direction 7-20m/s.
Scoring
The PWA 2006 low point scoring system shall apply.Elements will be scored according to NOR appendix.

Information during event
Will be on the notice board, which will be located close to competition area or event secretariat.
Medals and prize
The best 3 sailors will be awarded by cups and medals.Special prize for the most radical trick.
Judging
Each heat will be judged by 3 judges.
Registaration
The entry fee for the Burusports Freestyle Challenge 2009 is EUR 20 or 15 LVL. Each competitor shall personally register and sign the registration form and pay the entry fee at the Regatta Office.Entry fees paid on site. No credit Cards will be accepted.
Oficial afterparty
Will take place in Cabo Cafe in the end of competition day.
