Burusports Freestyle CUP 2012 (BFC 2012) will take place at any windy
day from 12.05.2012 till 30.06.2012.

Venue
The event will be based in Riga, at surf club 360 territory, Annas sakses
str. 19a.

PWA 2006 freestyle rules
This Notice of Race (“NoR”) & the Sailing Instructions (SIs)
Divisions
BFC 2011 regatta is “open entry” event for male & female competitors.
All competitors will be devided into 2 groups:
A group- new school freestylers( spock and up)
B group- old scholl freestylers( all till spock).
Elimination
Event will be double elimination format. Maximum of 2 series.
2 competitors in each heat, only one best will get in to the next round.
Equipment
All competitors shall bring their own equipment.
Sail insignias
No less than 22cm high numbers and national letters are required on
the sails
Liability
Competitors take part in all races at their own risk.
The organizers, ISAF or representatives or the sponsors are not
responsible, under any circumstances, for any damage, loss or injury
either ashore or on the water either to persons or equipment, which
may result.
Participation in this event is at the sole discretion of the sailor and at
his/her own risk.
Competition area
Will be marked by buoys and wil be located opposite surf club 360 area.
Weather
Event will be held at the NW-N wind direction 7-20m/s.
Scoring
The PWA 2006 low point scoring system shall apply.
Tricks will be scored according to NOR appendix for A group.

Information during event
Will be on the notice board, which will be located close to competition
area or event secretariat.
Medals and prize
The best 3 sailors will be awarded by cups and prīzes from sponsors.
Judging
Each heat will be judged by 3 judges.
Registaration
The entry fee for the Burusports Freestyle CUP 2012 is EUR 15 or 10
LVL. Each competitor shall personally register and sign the registration
form and pay the entry fee at the Regatta Office.
Entry fees paid on site. No credit Cards will be accepted.
Oficial afterparty
Will take place in Cabo Cafe after prize giving ceremony.
